Earn2Trade and FundedNext Futures in brief
Earn2Trade
Two programs: Gauntlet Mini and Trader Career Path. The drawdown trails at end of day until it reaches the starting balance. The daily loss limit is hard: hitting it fails the evaluation. A 30% consistency rule delays the pass but never fails it. No minimum trading days.
FundedNext Futures
The max loss trails at end of day and locks at the starting balance plus $100. Three plans: Rapid Pro, Rapid Daily (soft daily loss limit) and Flex (a 40% consistency rule that raises the target). No minimum trading days in the evaluation. Tradovate, no Rithmic.
How these rules play out
On Earn2Trade and FundedNext Futures the drawdown trails at end of day: the floor is recalculated once, from the closing balance, so open profit given back during the session does not raise it — but equity touching the floor during the session still counts. For example, at Earn2Trade and FundedNext Futures a $50,000 account starts with its floor at $48,000, $2,000 under the start.
On Earn2Trade and FundedNext Futures the trailing floor stops rising once it reaches breakeven and stays there.
A soft daily loss limit pauses the day instead of failing the account: reach it and open positions are flattened, trading stops until the next session, and the account stays open. FundedNext Futures' Rapid Daily plan sets it at $1,000 on $50,000. A hard daily loss limit ends the evaluation: one day that loses that much fails the account. Earn2Trade sets it at $1,100 on $50,000. FundedNext Futures' Rapid Pro and Flex plans have no daily loss limit, so a losing day is bounded only by the max drawdown.
Earn2Trade and FundedNext Futures start the trading day at the same moment, 6:00 PM ET (5:00 PM CT); a daily loss limit counts from that reset, not from midnight.
A consistency rule caps how much of the total profit one day may carry. Earn2Trade caps any single day at 30% of total profit, so it takes at least 4 profitable days to finish inside the rule. One day may then carry at most $900 of a $3,000 target. FundedNext Futures' Flex plan caps any single day at 40% of total profit, so it takes at least 3 profitable days to finish inside the rule. One day may then carry at most $1,000 of a $2,500 target. FundedNext Futures' Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily plans apply no consistency rule in the evaluation, so one large day can count in full.
Earn2Trade and FundedNext Futures set no minimum number of days.
Choosing between Earn2Trade and FundedNext Futures
Earn2Trade and FundedNext Futures differ on 2 of the evaluation rules compared here: daily loss limit and consistency rule. If one or two large days make up most of your profit, the consistency rule sets how fast you can finish: Earn2Trade caps one day at 30% of total profit; FundedNext Futures caps one day at 40% of total profit on some plans and has no cap on others. If you keep trading after a losing morning, look at what the daily loss limit does: Earn2Trade fails the account at its daily loss limit; FundedNext Futures pauses the day at its daily loss limit on some plans and has no limit on others.
Once funded, the profit split is 50% / 80% tiered by withdrawal size at Earn2Trade and 90% (Rapid Pro / Daily) · 95% (Flex) at FundedNext Futures. Payout terms — Earn2Trade: Weekly (Wednesdays); FundedNext Futures: Rapid Pro every 3 days · Rapid Daily daily · Flex 5 Benchmark Days. Earn2Trade sells 2 plans: Gauntlet Mini and Trader Career Path; FundedNext Futures sells 3 plans: Rapid Pro, Rapid Daily and Flex. Each plan carries its own version of the rules above, which is why they are listed plan by plan.
