Take Profit Trader and Blueberry Futures in brief

Take Profit Trader

One evaluation, the Test, followed by a PRO funded account. The drawdown trails at end of day in the Test and stops trailing at the starting balance. No daily loss limit. A 50% consistency rule raises the goal but never fails the account. Minimum 3 trading days.

Blueberry Futures

Ascent trails at end of day with a 2-day minimum; Accelerated trails intraday with a 1-day minimum. Both use the same dollar limits, have no daily loss limit and give 30 days to pass. Black Arrow only.

How these rules play out

Blueberry Futures' Accelerated plan trails the drawdown intraday: the floor follows the highest balance the account reaches during the session, open profit included, and never moves back down — a winning trade given back before it is closed still lifts it. For example, at Blueberry Futures' Accelerated plan a $50,000 account starts with its floor at $48,000, $2,000 under the start.

On Take Profit Trader and Blueberry Futures' Ascent plan the drawdown trails at end of day: the floor is recalculated once, from the closing balance, so open profit given back during the session does not raise it — but equity touching the floor during the session still counts. For example, at Take Profit Trader and Blueberry Futures' Ascent plan a $50,000 account starts with its floor at $48,000, $2,000 under the start.

On Take Profit Trader the trailing floor stops rising once it reaches breakeven and stays there.

Take Profit Trader and Blueberry Futures have no daily loss limit, so a losing day is bounded only by the max drawdown.

Take Profit Trader starts the trading day at 5:00 PM ET (4:00 PM CT).

A consistency rule caps how much of the total profit one day may carry. Take Profit Trader caps any single day at 50% of total profit, so it takes at least 2 profitable days to finish inside the rule. One day may then carry at most $1,500 of a $3,000 target. Blueberry Futures applies no consistency rule in the evaluation, so one large day can count in full.

Take Profit Trader requires at least 3 trading days before a pass; Blueberry Futures requires at least 2 trading days on Ascent and 1 on Accelerated before a pass.

Blueberry Futures' evaluation runs for 30 days; a target not reached by then is not a pass.

On automated trading — a strategy or bot sending the orders — at Take Profit Trader it is not allowed in the evaluation or on a funded account; Blueberry Futures has no written answer on record. Written answers: Take Profit Trader (read ).

Choosing between Take Profit Trader and Blueberry Futures

Take Profit Trader and Blueberry Futures differ on 3 of the evaluation rules compared here: drawdown model, consistency rule and minimum trading days. If your trades often run into open profit that you give back before closing them, start with the drawdown: Take Profit Trader trails at end of day, while Blueberry Futures trails intraday or at end of day, depending on the plan. If one or two large days make up most of your profit, the consistency rule sets how fast you can finish: Take Profit Trader caps one day at 50% of total profit; Blueberry Futures has no consistency rule. To finish in as few sessions as possible, compare the minimum days: Take Profit Trader needs at least 3 trading days, Blueberry Futures needs 1 to 2 trading days, depending on the plan.

Once funded, the profit split is 80/20 (PRO) · 90/10 (PRO+) at Take Profit Trader and 90/10 at Blueberry Futures. Payout terms — Take Profit Trader: Daily (PRO, once the buffer is reached); Blueberry Futures: After 5 profitable days of $200+. Take Profit Trader sells one evaluation model; Blueberry Futures sells 2 plans: Ascent and Accelerated. Each plan carries its own version of the rules above, which is why they are listed plan by plan. If a strategy or bot will send your orders, Take Profit Trader's written answer is not allowed in the evaluation or on a funded account, and Blueberry Futures has no written answer on record.
