Tradeify and Take Profit Trader in brief
Tradeify
Growth and Select evaluations, plus Lightning instant funding. The drawdown trails at end of day and is enforced in real time. Growth has a soft daily loss limit; Select has a 40% consistency rule in the evaluation.
Take Profit Trader
One evaluation, the Test, followed by a PRO funded account. The drawdown trails at end of day in the Test and stops trailing at the starting balance. No daily loss limit. A 50% consistency rule raises the goal but never fails the account. Minimum 3 trading days.
How these rules play out
On Tradeify and Take Profit Trader the drawdown trails at end of day: the floor is recalculated once, from the closing balance, so open profit given back during the session does not raise it — but equity touching the floor during the session still counts. For example, at Tradeify and Take Profit Trader a $50,000 account starts with its floor at $48,000, $2,000 under the start.
On Take Profit Trader the trailing floor stops rising once it reaches breakeven and stays there.
A soft daily loss limit pauses the day instead of failing the account: reach it and open positions are flattened, trading stops until the next session, and the account stays open. Tradeify's Growth Evaluation plan sets it at $1,250 on $50,000. Tradeify's Select Evaluation plan and Take Profit Trader have no daily loss limit, so a losing day is bounded only by the max drawdown.
Tradeify starts the trading day at 6:00 PM ET (5:00 PM CT) and Take Profit Trader starts the trading day at 5:00 PM ET (4:00 PM CT); a daily loss limit counts from that reset, not from midnight.
A consistency rule caps how much of the total profit one day may carry. Tradeify's Select Evaluation plan caps any single day at 40% of total profit, so it takes at least 3 profitable days to finish inside the rule. One day may then carry at most $1,200 of a $3,000 target. Tradeify's Lightning plan caps any single day at 20% of total profit, so it takes at least 5 profitable days to finish inside the rule. Take Profit Trader caps any single day at 50% of total profit, so it takes at least 2 profitable days to finish inside the rule. One day may then carry at most $1,500 of a $3,000 target. Tradeify's Growth Evaluation plan applies no consistency rule in the evaluation, so one large day can count in full.
Tradeify requires at least 1 trading day on Growth Evaluation and 3 on Select Evaluation before a pass; Take Profit Trader requires at least 3 trading days before a pass; Tradeify's Lightning plan sets no minimum number of days.
On automated trading — a strategy or bot sending the orders — at Tradeify it is allowed in the evaluation and on a funded account; at Take Profit Trader it is not allowed in the evaluation or on a funded account. Written answers: Tradeify (read ), Take Profit Trader (read ).
Choosing between Tradeify and Take Profit Trader
Tradeify and Take Profit Trader differ on 3 of the evaluation rules compared here: daily loss limit, consistency rule and minimum trading days. If one or two large days make up most of your profit, the consistency rule sets how fast you can finish: Tradeify caps one day at 20–40% of total profit on some plans and has no cap on others; Take Profit Trader caps one day at 50% of total profit. If you keep trading after a losing morning, look at what the daily loss limit does: Tradeify pauses the day at its daily loss limit on some plans and has no limit on others; Take Profit Trader has no daily loss limit. To finish in as few sessions as possible, compare the minimum days: Tradeify sets no minimum on some plans and up to 3 trading days on others, Take Profit Trader needs at least 3 trading days.
Once funded, the profit split is 90/10 at Tradeify and 80/20 (PRO) · 90/10 (PRO+) at Take Profit Trader. Payout terms — Tradeify: Per cycle (Growth 5 profitable days · Select Flex 5 winning days · Select Daily daily); Take Profit Trader: Daily (PRO, once the buffer is reached). Tradeify sells 3 plans: Growth Evaluation, Select Evaluation and Lightning; Take Profit Trader sells one evaluation model. Each plan carries its own version of the rules above, which is why they are listed plan by plan. If a strategy or bot will send your orders, Tradeify's written answer is allowed in the evaluation and on a funded account, and Take Profit Trader's written answer is not allowed in the evaluation or on a funded account.
