Bulenox and Legends Trading Group in brief
Bulenox
A Qualification account in two options. Option 1 trails intraday with no daily loss limit; Option 2 trails at end of day with a soft daily loss limit that pauses the day. Rithmic only. One-time fee, 30 days of access.
Legends Trading Group
Apprentice and Elite trail at end of day; Straight-to-Master is described as "trailing" without a stated model. No daily loss limit. Consistency rules of 30% (Apprentice), 40% (Elite) and 30% (Straight-to-Master) raise the target but never fail the account.
How these rules play out
Bulenox's Option 1 plan trails the drawdown intraday: the floor follows the highest balance the account reaches during the session, open profit included, and never moves back down — a winning trade given back before it is closed still lifts it. For example, at Bulenox's Option 1 plan a $50,000 account starts with its floor at $47,500, $2,500 under the start.
On Bulenox's Option 2 plan and Legends Trading Group the drawdown trails at end of day: the floor is recalculated once, from the closing balance, so open profit given back during the session does not raise it — but equity touching the floor during the session still counts. For example, at Bulenox's Option 2 plan a $50,000 account starts with its floor at $47,500, $2,500 under the start; at Legends Trading Group a $50,000 account starts with its floor at $48,000, $2,000 under the start.
A soft daily loss limit pauses the day instead of failing the account: reach it and open positions are flattened, trading stops until the next session, and the account stays open. Bulenox's Option 2 plan sets it at $1,100 on $50,000. Bulenox's Option 1 plan and Legends Trading Group have no daily loss limit, so a losing day is bounded only by the max drawdown.
Bulenox starts the trading day at 6:00 PM ET (5:00 PM CT); a daily loss limit counts from that reset, not from midnight.
A consistency rule caps how much of the total profit one day may carry. Legends Trading Group's Apprentice and Straight-to-Master plans cap any single day at 30% of total profit, so it takes at least 4 profitable days to finish inside the rule. One day may then carry at most $900 of a $3,000 target. Bulenox applies no consistency rule in the evaluation, so one large day can count in full.
Legends Trading Group requires at least 4 trading days on Apprentice and 10 on Straight-to-Master before a pass; Bulenox sets no minimum number of days.
Choosing between Bulenox and Legends Trading Group
Bulenox and Legends Trading Group differ on 5 of the evaluation rules compared here: drawdown model, daily loss limit, consistency rule, max drawdown at $50K and minimum trading days. If your trades often run into open profit that you give back before closing them, start with the drawdown: Bulenox trails intraday or at end of day, depending on the plan, while Legends Trading Group trails at end of day. If one or two large days make up most of your profit, the consistency rule sets how fast you can finish: Bulenox has no consistency rule; Legends Trading Group caps one day at 30% of total profit. If you keep trading after a losing morning, look at what the daily loss limit does: Bulenox pauses the day at its daily loss limit on some plans and has no limit on others; Legends Trading Group has no daily loss limit. In dollars at $50K, Bulenox asks for $3,000 of profit with $2,500 of drawdown room, Legends Trading Group for $3,000 with $2,000. To finish in as few sessions as possible, compare the minimum days: Bulenox sets no minimum, Legends Trading Group needs 4 to 10 trading days, depending on the plan.
Once funded, the profit split is 100% of the first $10K, then 90/10 at Bulenox and 90/10 at Legends Trading Group. Payout terms — Bulenox: Weekly (Wednesdays); Legends Trading Group: Up to twice per month. Bulenox sells 2 plans: Option 1 and Option 2; Legends Trading Group sells 3 plans: Apprentice, Elite and Straight-to-Master. Each plan carries its own version of the rules above, which is why they are listed plan by plan.
