E8 Markets and MyFundedFutures in brief

E8 Markets

E8 Signature (Futures) is a one-step evaluation whose "Dynamic" drawdown trails at end of day and locks at the starting balance once closed profit equals the drawdown, with no daily loss limit or consistency rule in the evaluation. E8 Zero Starter and Zero Max trail at end of day without locking during the challenge and have a 40% best-day rule that raises the target. Tradovate only.

MyFundedFutures

One evaluation per plan: Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro, Builder and Studio. Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro and Builder trail at end of day in the evaluation and lock at the starting balance plus $100; Rapid switches to intraday trailing once funded. Builder has a soft daily loss limit. Studio has a static drawdown and trades micros only. The consistency rule never fails the account.

How these rules play out

On E8 Markets and MyFundedFutures' Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro and Builder plans the drawdown trails at end of day: the floor is recalculated once, from the closing balance, so open profit given back during the session does not raise it — but equity touching the floor during the session still counts. For example, at E8 Markets and MyFundedFutures' Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro and Builder plans a $50,000 account starts with its floor at $48,000, $2,000 under the start.

MyFundedFutures' Studio plan uses a static drawdown: the floor is set once, the drawdown below the starting balance, and does not move for the whole evaluation. For example, at MyFundedFutures' Studio plan a $20,000 account starts with its floor at $19,000, $1,000 under the start.

On E8 Markets' E8 Signature plan and MyFundedFutures' Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro and Builder plans the trailing floor stops rising once it reaches breakeven and stays there. On E8 Markets' E8 Zero Starter and E8 Zero Max plans it keeps trailing for the whole evaluation.

A soft daily loss limit pauses the day instead of failing the account: reach it and open positions are flattened, trading stops until the next session, and the account stays open. MyFundedFutures' Builder plan sets it at $1,000 on $50,000. E8 Markets and MyFundedFutures' Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro and Studio plans have no daily loss limit, so a losing day is bounded only by the max drawdown.

A consistency rule caps how much of the total profit one day may carry. E8 Markets' E8 Zero Starter and E8 Zero Max plans cap any single day at 40% of total profit, so it takes at least 3 profitable days to finish inside the rule. One day may then carry at most $1,200 of a $3,000 target. MyFundedFutures' Rapid and Pro plans cap any single day at 50% of total profit, so it takes at least 2 profitable days to finish inside the rule. One day may then carry at most $1,500 of a $3,000 target. MyFundedFutures' Rapid EOD plan caps any single day at 30% of total profit, so it takes at least 4 profitable days to finish inside the rule. One day may then carry at most $900 of a $3,000 target. E8 Markets' E8 Signature plan and MyFundedFutures' Builder and Studio plans apply no consistency rule in the evaluation, so one large day can count in full.

MyFundedFutures requires at least 2 trading days on Rapid and Pro, 4 on Rapid EOD and 1 on Builder before a pass; E8 Markets and MyFundedFutures' Studio plan set no minimum number of days.

On automated trading — a strategy or bot sending the orders — E8 Markets has no written answer on record; at MyFundedFutures it is allowed in the evaluation and on a funded account. Written answers: MyFundedFutures (read ).

Choosing between E8 Markets and MyFundedFutures

E8 Markets and MyFundedFutures differ on 5 of the evaluation rules compared here: drawdown model, trailing floor, daily loss limit, consistency rule and minimum trading days. If your trades often run into open profit that you give back before closing them, start with the drawdown: E8 Markets trails at end of day, while MyFundedFutures trails at end of day or holds a static floor, depending on the plan. If one or two large days make up most of your profit, the consistency rule sets how fast you can finish: E8 Markets caps one day at 40% of total profit on some plans and has no cap on others; MyFundedFutures caps one day at 30–50% of total profit on some plans and has no cap on others. If you keep trading after a losing morning, look at what the daily loss limit does: E8 Markets has no daily loss limit; MyFundedFutures pauses the day at its daily loss limit on some plans and has no limit on others. To finish in as few sessions as possible, compare the minimum days: E8 Markets sets no minimum, MyFundedFutures sets no minimum on some plans and up to 4 trading days on others.

Once funded, the profit split is 80/20 at E8 Markets and 90/10 (Rapid) · 80/20 (Pro, Builder, Studio) at MyFundedFutures. Payout terms — E8 Markets: On demand (5 profitable days between payouts; max 4 per Signature account); MyFundedFutures: Rapid every 24h · Pro every 14 days · Builder every 48h. E8 Markets sells 3 plans: E8 Signature, E8 Zero Starter and E8 Zero Max; MyFundedFutures sells 4 plans: Rapid, Pro, Builder and Studio. Each plan carries its own version of the rules above, which is why they are listed plan by plan. If a strategy or bot will send your orders, E8 Markets has no written answer on record, and MyFundedFutures' written answer is allowed in the evaluation and on a funded account.
