Earn2Trade and Phidias Propfirm in brief
Earn2Trade
Two programs: Gauntlet Mini and Trader Career Path. The drawdown trails at end of day until it reaches the starting balance. The daily loss limit is hard: hitting it fails the evaluation. A 30% consistency rule delays the pass but never fails it. No minimum trading days.
Phidias Propfirm
Express to Live has a static drawdown that never trails. Fundamental and Premium trail at end of day and do not lock during the evaluation. No daily loss limit and no consistency rule in the evaluation.
How these rules play out
On Earn2Trade and Phidias Propfirm's Fundamental and Premium plans the drawdown trails at end of day: the floor is recalculated once, from the closing balance, so open profit given back during the session does not raise it — but equity touching the floor during the session still counts. For example, at Earn2Trade a $50,000 account starts with its floor at $48,000, $2,000 under the start; at Phidias Propfirm's Fundamental and Premium plans a $50,000 account starts with its floor at $47,500, $2,500 under the start.
Phidias Propfirm's Express to Live plan uses a static drawdown: the floor is set once, the drawdown below the starting balance, and does not move for the whole evaluation. For example, at Phidias Propfirm's Express to Live plan a $50,000 account starts with its floor at $49,350, $650 under the start.
On Earn2Trade the trailing floor stops rising once it reaches breakeven and stays there. On Phidias Propfirm's Fundamental and Premium plans it keeps trailing for the whole evaluation.
A hard daily loss limit ends the evaluation: one day that loses that much fails the account. Earn2Trade sets it at $1,100 on $50,000. Phidias Propfirm has no daily loss limit, so a losing day is bounded only by the max drawdown.
Earn2Trade starts the trading day at 6:00 PM ET (5:00 PM CT); a daily loss limit counts from that reset, not from midnight.
A consistency rule caps how much of the total profit one day may carry. Earn2Trade caps any single day at 30% of total profit, so it takes at least 4 profitable days to finish inside the rule. One day may then carry at most $900 of a $3,000 target. Phidias Propfirm applies no consistency rule in the evaluation, so one large day can count in full.
Phidias Propfirm requires at least 3 trading days on Fundamental and 1 on Premium before a pass; Earn2Trade and Phidias Propfirm's Express to Live plan set no minimum number of days.
Choosing between Earn2Trade and Phidias Propfirm
Earn2Trade and Phidias Propfirm differ on 7 of the evaluation rules compared here: drawdown model, trailing floor, daily loss limit, consistency rule, max drawdown at $50K, profit target at $50K and minimum trading days. If your trades often run into open profit that you give back before closing them, start with the drawdown: Earn2Trade trails at end of day, while Phidias Propfirm trails at end of day or holds a static floor, depending on the plan. If one or two large days make up most of your profit, the consistency rule sets how fast you can finish: Earn2Trade caps one day at 30% of total profit; Phidias Propfirm has no consistency rule. If you keep trading after a losing morning, look at what the daily loss limit does: Earn2Trade fails the account at its daily loss limit; Phidias Propfirm has no daily loss limit. In dollars at $50K, Earn2Trade asks for $3,000 of profit with $2,000 of drawdown room, Phidias Propfirm for $4,000 with $2,500. To finish in as few sessions as possible, compare the minimum days: Earn2Trade sets no minimum, Phidias Propfirm sets no minimum on some plans and up to 3 trading days on others.
Once funded, the profit split is 50% / 80% tiered by withdrawal size at Earn2Trade and 80/20 (Fundamental, Express) · 75→100% progressive (Premium) at Phidias Propfirm. Payout terms — Earn2Trade: Weekly (Wednesdays); Phidias Propfirm: Fundamental every 10+ days · Premium every 5 days. Earn2Trade sells 2 plans: Gauntlet Mini and Trader Career Path; Phidias Propfirm sells 3 plans: Fundamental, Premium and Express to Live. Each plan carries its own version of the rules above, which is why they are listed plan by plan.
