Lucid Trading and UProfit in brief
Lucid Trading
Four plans: LucidPro, LucidFlex, LucidDaily and LucidDirect. Every plan trails at end of day and locks at the initial balance plus $100; the LucidDaily evaluation is also sold with intraday trailing. Every daily loss limit is soft, a "soft breach" that does not fail the account.
UProfit
DAY 2.0 comes as Soft, where the daily loss limit pauses trading until the next session without a breach, or Flex, with no daily loss limit. The drawdown trails at end of day up to the starting balance. A 50% consistency rule in the evaluation never fails the account.
How these rules play out
Lucid Trading's LucidDaily (intraday eval) plan trails the drawdown intraday: the floor follows the highest balance the account reaches during the session, open profit included, and never moves back down — a winning trade given back before it is closed still lifts it. For example, at Lucid Trading's LucidDaily (intraday eval) plan a $50,000 account starts with its floor at $48,000, $2,000 under the start.
On Lucid Trading's LucidPro, LucidFlex, LucidDaily (EOD eval) and LucidDirect plans and UProfit the drawdown trails at end of day: the floor is recalculated once, from the closing balance, so open profit given back during the session does not raise it — but equity touching the floor during the session still counts. For example, at Lucid Trading's LucidPro, LucidFlex, LucidDaily (EOD eval) and LucidDirect plans and UProfit a $50,000 account starts with its floor at $48,000, $2,000 under the start.
On Lucid Trading's LucidPro, LucidFlex, LucidDaily (EOD eval) and LucidDirect plans and UProfit the trailing floor stops rising once it reaches breakeven and stays there.
A soft daily loss limit pauses the day instead of failing the account: reach it and open positions are flattened, trading stops until the next session, and the account stays open. Lucid Trading's LucidPro, LucidDaily (EOD eval), LucidDaily (intraday eval) and LucidDirect plans set it at $1,200 on $50,000 and UProfit's DAY 2.0 Soft plan sets it at $1,100 on $50,000. Lucid Trading's LucidFlex plan and UProfit's DAY 2.0 Flex plan have no daily loss limit, so a losing day is bounded only by the max drawdown.
Lucid Trading and UProfit start the trading day at the same moment, 6:00 PM ET (5:00 PM CT); a daily loss limit counts from that reset, not from midnight.
A consistency rule caps how much of the total profit one day may carry. Lucid Trading's LucidFlex plan caps any single day at 40% of total profit, so it takes at least 3 profitable days to finish inside the rule. One day may then carry at most $1,200 of a $3,000 target. Lucid Trading's LucidDaily (EOD eval) and LucidDaily (intraday eval) plans and UProfit cap any single day at 50% of total profit, so it takes at least 2 profitable days to finish inside the rule. One day may then carry at most $1,500 of a $3,000 target. Lucid Trading's LucidDirect plan caps any single day at 20% of total profit, so it takes at least 5 profitable days to finish inside the rule. One day may then carry at most $600 of a $3,000 target. Lucid Trading's LucidPro plan applies no consistency rule in the evaluation, so one large day can count in full.
On automated trading — a strategy or bot sending the orders — at Lucid Trading it is allowed in the evaluation and on a funded account; UProfit has no written answer on record. Written answers: Lucid Trading (read ).
Choosing between Lucid Trading and UProfit
Lucid Trading and UProfit differ on 3 of the evaluation rules compared here: drawdown model, consistency rule and daily loss limit at $50K. If your trades often run into open profit that you give back before closing them, start with the drawdown: Lucid Trading trails intraday or at end of day, depending on the plan, while UProfit trails at end of day. If one or two large days make up most of your profit, the consistency rule sets how fast you can finish: Lucid Trading caps one day at 20–50% of total profit on some plans and has no cap on others; UProfit caps one day at 50% of total profit.
Once funded, the profit split is 90/10 at Lucid Trading and 90/10 (DAY 2.0) at UProfit. Payout terms — Lucid Trading: On request once eligible; UProfit: Within 24h, up to $4,500 per payout. Lucid Trading sells 4 plans: LucidPro, LucidFlex, LucidDaily and LucidDirect; UProfit sells 2 plans: DAY 2.0 Soft and DAY 2.0 Flex. Each plan carries its own version of the rules above, which is why they are listed plan by plan. If a strategy or bot will send your orders, Lucid Trading's written answer is allowed in the evaluation and on a funded account, and UProfit has no written answer on record.
