MyFundedFutures and Take Profit Trader in brief

MyFundedFutures

One evaluation per plan: Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro, Builder and Studio. Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro and Builder trail at end of day in the evaluation and lock at the starting balance plus $100; Rapid switches to intraday trailing once funded. Builder has a soft daily loss limit. Studio has a static drawdown and trades micros only. The consistency rule never fails the account.

Take Profit Trader

One evaluation, the Test, followed by a PRO funded account. The drawdown trails at end of day in the Test and stops trailing at the starting balance. No daily loss limit. A 50% consistency rule raises the goal but never fails the account. Minimum 3 trading days.

How these rules play out

On MyFundedFutures' Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro and Builder plans and Take Profit Trader the drawdown trails at end of day: the floor is recalculated once, from the closing balance, so open profit given back during the session does not raise it — but equity touching the floor during the session still counts. For example, at MyFundedFutures' Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro and Builder plans and Take Profit Trader a $50,000 account starts with its floor at $48,000, $2,000 under the start.

MyFundedFutures' Studio plan uses a static drawdown: the floor is set once, the drawdown below the starting balance, and does not move for the whole evaluation. For example, at MyFundedFutures' Studio plan a $20,000 account starts with its floor at $19,000, $1,000 under the start.

On MyFundedFutures' Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro and Builder plans and Take Profit Trader the trailing floor stops rising once it reaches breakeven and stays there.

A soft daily loss limit pauses the day instead of failing the account: reach it and open positions are flattened, trading stops until the next session, and the account stays open. MyFundedFutures' Builder plan sets it at $1,000 on $50,000. MyFundedFutures' Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro and Studio plans and Take Profit Trader have no daily loss limit, so a losing day is bounded only by the max drawdown.

Take Profit Trader starts the trading day at 5:00 PM ET (4:00 PM CT); a daily loss limit counts from that reset, not from midnight.

A consistency rule caps how much of the total profit one day may carry. MyFundedFutures' Rapid and Pro plans and Take Profit Trader cap any single day at 50% of total profit, so it takes at least 2 profitable days to finish inside the rule. One day may then carry at most $1,500 of a $3,000 target. MyFundedFutures' Rapid EOD plan caps any single day at 30% of total profit, so it takes at least 4 profitable days to finish inside the rule. One day may then carry at most $900 of a $3,000 target. MyFundedFutures' Builder and Studio plans apply no consistency rule in the evaluation, so one large day can count in full.

MyFundedFutures requires at least 2 trading days on Rapid and Pro, 4 on Rapid EOD and 1 on Builder before a pass; Take Profit Trader requires at least 3 trading days before a pass; MyFundedFutures' Studio plan sets no minimum number of days.

On automated trading — a strategy or bot sending the orders — at MyFundedFutures it is allowed in the evaluation and on a funded account; at Take Profit Trader it is not allowed in the evaluation or on a funded account. Written answers: MyFundedFutures (read ), Take Profit Trader (read ).

Choosing between MyFundedFutures and Take Profit Trader

MyFundedFutures and Take Profit Trader differ on 4 of the evaluation rules compared here: drawdown model, daily loss limit, consistency rule and minimum trading days. If your trades often run into open profit that you give back before closing them, start with the drawdown: MyFundedFutures trails at end of day or holds a static floor, depending on the plan, while Take Profit Trader trails at end of day. If one or two large days make up most of your profit, the consistency rule sets how fast you can finish: MyFundedFutures caps one day at 30–50% of total profit on some plans and has no cap on others; Take Profit Trader caps one day at 50% of total profit. If you keep trading after a losing morning, look at what the daily loss limit does: MyFundedFutures pauses the day at its daily loss limit on some plans and has no limit on others; Take Profit Trader has no daily loss limit. To finish in as few sessions as possible, compare the minimum days: MyFundedFutures sets no minimum on some plans and up to 4 trading days on others, Take Profit Trader needs at least 3 trading days.

Once funded, the profit split is 90/10 (Rapid) · 80/20 (Pro, Builder, Studio) at MyFundedFutures and 80/20 (PRO) · 90/10 (PRO+) at Take Profit Trader. Payout terms — MyFundedFutures: Rapid every 24h · Pro every 14 days · Builder every 48h; Take Profit Trader: Daily (PRO, once the buffer is reached). MyFundedFutures sells 4 plans: Rapid, Pro, Builder and Studio; Take Profit Trader sells one evaluation model. Each plan carries its own version of the rules above, which is why they are listed plan by plan. If a strategy or bot will send your orders, MyFundedFutures' written answer is allowed in the evaluation and on a funded account, and Take Profit Trader's written answer is not allowed in the evaluation or on a funded account.
