Tradeify and UProfit in brief
Tradeify
Growth and Select evaluations, plus Lightning instant funding. The drawdown trails at end of day and is enforced in real time. Growth has a soft daily loss limit; Select has a 40% consistency rule in the evaluation.
UProfit
DAY 2.0 comes as Soft, where the daily loss limit pauses trading until the next session without a breach, or Flex, with no daily loss limit. The drawdown trails at end of day up to the starting balance. A 50% consistency rule in the evaluation never fails the account.
How these rules play out
On Tradeify and UProfit the drawdown trails at end of day: the floor is recalculated once, from the closing balance, so open profit given back during the session does not raise it — but equity touching the floor during the session still counts. For example, at Tradeify and UProfit a $50,000 account starts with its floor at $48,000, $2,000 under the start.
On UProfit the trailing floor stops rising once it reaches breakeven and stays there.
A soft daily loss limit pauses the day instead of failing the account: reach it and open positions are flattened, trading stops until the next session, and the account stays open. Tradeify's Growth Evaluation plan sets it at $1,250 on $50,000 and UProfit's DAY 2.0 Soft plan sets it at $1,100 on $50,000. Tradeify's Select Evaluation plan and UProfit's DAY 2.0 Flex plan have no daily loss limit, so a losing day is bounded only by the max drawdown.
Tradeify and UProfit start the trading day at the same moment, 6:00 PM ET (5:00 PM CT); a daily loss limit counts from that reset, not from midnight.
A consistency rule caps how much of the total profit one day may carry. Tradeify's Select Evaluation plan caps any single day at 40% of total profit, so it takes at least 3 profitable days to finish inside the rule. One day may then carry at most $1,200 of a $3,000 target. Tradeify's Lightning plan caps any single day at 20% of total profit, so it takes at least 5 profitable days to finish inside the rule. UProfit caps any single day at 50% of total profit, so it takes at least 2 profitable days to finish inside the rule. One day may then carry at most $1,500 of a $3,000 target. Tradeify's Growth Evaluation plan applies no consistency rule in the evaluation, so one large day can count in full.
Tradeify requires at least 1 trading day on Growth Evaluation and 3 on Select Evaluation before a pass; Tradeify's Lightning plan sets no minimum number of days.
On automated trading — a strategy or bot sending the orders — at Tradeify it is allowed in the evaluation and on a funded account; UProfit has no written answer on record. Written answers: Tradeify (read ).
Choosing between Tradeify and UProfit
Tradeify and UProfit differ on 2 of the evaluation rules compared here: consistency rule and daily loss limit at $50K. If one or two large days make up most of your profit, the consistency rule sets how fast you can finish: Tradeify caps one day at 20–40% of total profit on some plans and has no cap on others; UProfit caps one day at 50% of total profit.
Once funded, the profit split is 90/10 at Tradeify and 90/10 (DAY 2.0) at UProfit. Payout terms — Tradeify: Per cycle (Growth 5 profitable days · Select Flex 5 winning days · Select Daily daily); UProfit: Within 24h, up to $4,500 per payout. Tradeify sells 3 plans: Growth Evaluation, Select Evaluation and Lightning; UProfit sells 2 plans: DAY 2.0 Soft and DAY 2.0 Flex. Each plan carries its own version of the rules above, which is why they are listed plan by plan. If a strategy or bot will send your orders, Tradeify's written answer is allowed in the evaluation and on a funded account, and UProfit has no written answer on record.
