Phidias Propfirm and UProfit in brief

Phidias Propfirm

Express to Live has a static drawdown that never trails. Fundamental and Premium trail at end of day and do not lock during the evaluation. No daily loss limit and no consistency rule in the evaluation.

UProfit

DAY 2.0 comes as Soft, where the daily loss limit pauses trading until the next session without a breach, or Flex, with no daily loss limit. The drawdown trails at end of day up to the starting balance. A 50% consistency rule in the evaluation never fails the account.

How these rules play out

On Phidias Propfirm's Fundamental and Premium plans and UProfit the drawdown trails at end of day: the floor is recalculated once, from the closing balance, so open profit given back during the session does not raise it — but equity touching the floor during the session still counts. For example, at Phidias Propfirm's Fundamental and Premium plans a $50,000 account starts with its floor at $47,500, $2,500 under the start; at UProfit a $50,000 account starts with its floor at $48,000, $2,000 under the start.

Phidias Propfirm's Express to Live plan uses a static drawdown: the floor is set once, the drawdown below the starting balance, and does not move for the whole evaluation. For example, at Phidias Propfirm's Express to Live plan a $50,000 account starts with its floor at $49,350, $650 under the start.

On UProfit the trailing floor stops rising once it reaches breakeven and stays there. On Phidias Propfirm's Fundamental and Premium plans it keeps trailing for the whole evaluation.

A soft daily loss limit pauses the day instead of failing the account: reach it and open positions are flattened, trading stops until the next session, and the account stays open. UProfit's DAY 2.0 Soft plan sets it at $1,100 on $50,000. Phidias Propfirm and UProfit's DAY 2.0 Flex plan have no daily loss limit, so a losing day is bounded only by the max drawdown.

UProfit starts the trading day at 6:00 PM ET (5:00 PM CT); a daily loss limit counts from that reset, not from midnight.

A consistency rule caps how much of the total profit one day may carry. UProfit caps any single day at 50% of total profit, so it takes at least 2 profitable days to finish inside the rule. One day may then carry at most $1,500 of a $3,000 target. Phidias Propfirm applies no consistency rule in the evaluation, so one large day can count in full.

Phidias Propfirm requires at least 3 trading days on Fundamental and 1 on Premium before a pass; Phidias Propfirm's Express to Live plan sets no minimum number of days.

Choosing between Phidias Propfirm and UProfit

Phidias Propfirm and UProfit differ on 6 of the evaluation rules compared here: drawdown model, trailing floor, daily loss limit, consistency rule, max drawdown at $50K and profit target at $50K. If your trades often run into open profit that you give back before closing them, start with the drawdown: Phidias Propfirm trails at end of day or holds a static floor, depending on the plan, while UProfit trails at end of day. If one or two large days make up most of your profit, the consistency rule sets how fast you can finish: Phidias Propfirm has no consistency rule; UProfit caps one day at 50% of total profit. If you keep trading after a losing morning, look at what the daily loss limit does: Phidias Propfirm has no daily loss limit; UProfit pauses the day at its daily loss limit on some plans and has no limit on others. In dollars at $50K, Phidias Propfirm asks for $4,000 of profit with $2,500 of drawdown room, UProfit for $3,000 with $2,000.

Once funded, the profit split is 80/20 (Fundamental, Express) · 75→100% progressive (Premium) at Phidias Propfirm and 90/10 (DAY 2.0) at UProfit. Payout terms — Phidias Propfirm: Fundamental every 10+ days · Premium every 5 days; UProfit: Within 24h, up to $4,500 per payout. Phidias Propfirm sells 3 plans: Fundamental, Premium and Express to Live; UProfit sells 2 plans: DAY 2.0 Soft and DAY 2.0 Flex. Each plan carries its own version of the rules above, which is why they are listed plan by plan.
